Kinzey Blogs for US Chamber

Ruth Kinzey was selected to blog at the US Chamber’s BCLC corporate responsibility conference.

The Business Civic Leadership Center has named only five official bloggers to cover its 2009 Global Corporate Citizenship Conference in Washington, DC, on Oct. 1 and 2.

This year’s conference, which focuses on Emerging Market Development, will showcase best practices for private sector engagement in emerging markets and present areas of collaboration through public-private partnership. Kinzey will cover sessions during the two-day program, which will appear on the Chamber’s blog and be sent via Twitter. Although the BCLC has held this conference for 10 years, this will be the first year that it has tapped into social media to share content and ideas with the public.

Last year, 335 attendees were present, representing public and private companies, nonprofit entities and government.
