Gayle C. Ireland

With 25 years of market research experience, Gayle Ireland has worked on both the supplier and client side of research. She spent 10 years in market research at Duke Energy in Charlotte, NC, where she designed and subsequently managed the corporation's Customer Satisfaction Survey and Brand Image Tracking processes. Other projects include studies on product and program design, customer preferences and corporate branding. Nationally, she is a published writer and noted speaker, presenting papers on Customer Segmentation, Customer Satisfaction and Customer Loyalty; and she has served at the national level on industry advisory panels related to customer research.

Ms. Ireland has worked for a variety of industries and is experienced in all phases of research design and implementation. She has experience across a wide variety of industries, including retail, consumer packaged goods, not-for-profit, financial, real estate, trucking, tourism and health & fitness. Projects range from customer segmentation (for companies including Procter & Gamble), customer loyalty assessments (Duke Energy, YMCAs nationwide), target marketing evaluations (United Way-regional & national; Bank of America), brand valuation studies (DuPont, EquiFirst, Grandfather Mountain). She has also designed and implemented a number of name and logo-testing studies for top companies worldwide, in such diverse industries as paints and coatings, automotive, pharmaceuticals, home décor, beverages and entertainment.

Ms. Ireland graduated summa cum laude with Honors from North Carolina State University, and she received an MBA from Emory University (Goizueta School of Business), with a double concentration in finance and marketing.

Ms. Ireland is based in North Carolina.
